Manufacturing Machinist

Part-time Shift(s): WED THU FRI 6:00am - 2:30pm
Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

Working as a Part-time Manufacturing Machinist, you will set up and operate equipment such as turning centers, machining centers, and manual machines. The successful candidate must understand machine operations and capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform accurate inspections on products
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously
• Assist other employees as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 100 lbs
• Pass drug screening (applicable in US, Puerto Rico, Guam)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior machining experience
• Possession of a 2-year tool and die or machining degree
