Description

We are looking for experienced Machine Operators to join our fast-growing manufacturing team! Do you want to be part of an organization that fosters learning and skill development? This is the opportunity for you!

Normal hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday

Occasional Saturdays may be required due to business needs.

This position is located in Edmond/North OKC

A Day in the Life of a Machine Operator:
  • Adjust, calibrate, and test equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature, and operation.
  • Visually examine, weigh, and measure components to ensure machines produce according to standards, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members, maintenance personnel, and leaders to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
  • Communicate equipment problems or malfunctions to team members and address them promptly.
  • Maintain and clean equipment using appropriate solutions and tools.
  • Select and install cutters, molds, and other parts to keep machines operating at peak efficiency, including changing dies.
  • Ensure effective communication during shift handovers for a smooth transition.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include safely operating various machines, conducting daily safety checks, monitoring heating and loading billets, and performing hot die changes. The role may require lifting 35lb billets and exposure to high temperatures, with the use of heat-reflective PPE.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a production environment (required)
  • Experience operating industrial manufacturing machines (required)
  • Ability to read drawings and measurement tools (required)

Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred

Additional Qualifications:

  • Comfort with hot work and high temperatures
  • Knowledge of safe manufacturing practices and PPE use
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and independently
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Forklift operation knowledge is a plus
