Location: Torrance, CA

Pay: $20–$23/hr

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Coating Technician I to support our optical coating operations. You’ll play a key role in preparing, coating, and testing glass and optical components, ensuring accuracy and consistency in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow specifications and route sheets for coating applications

• Accurately measure and apply coatings

• Troubleshoot issues such as shifting or patching

• Perform maintenance and testing on vacuum chambers

• Identify and report nonconforming products

• Maintain organized records and clean workspaces

• Follow safety guidelines and take initiative where needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 0–2 years of relevant experience

• Basic blueprint reading and measuring skills

• Must speak, read, and write English clearly

• U.S. Person status required (due to ITAR regulations)

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet

• Must be dependable, punctual, and available for overtime
