IMMEDIATE FULL-TIME Warehouse and Machine Operator positions with a large manufacturer in Zebulon

• Starting Pay: $13.00-14.50/hr. based on shift. PLUS $100 attendance bonus paid every 2 weeks (gas money)!

• Work schedule: 1st Shift 5:00AM - 3:30PM; 2nd Shift 3:00PM - 1:30AM, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Friday.

• Have you worked in a manufacturing environment for at least 1 year, or are you looking for an entry-level position?
• Do you have at least 6 months of experience operating production machines?
• Do you have reliable transportation and a good attendance record?

What will I be doing?

• Operating production machines to create and trim plastic parts.
• Making adjustments to machinery as needed to ensure products meet specifications, minimizing machine downtime and scrap rates.
• Performing basic visual inspections of parts.
• Setting up machinery as directed by the shift lead.
• Reading and understanding quality documents and specifications to ensure products are within required standards.
• Receiving training from a mentor over the first week on the job.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 4 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently to operate machinery.
• Willingness to learn how to set up and operate injection molding machinery, and demonstrate the ability to adjust machinery and control the production process.
• Understanding of product quality requirements to ensure all parts meet standards.
• Ability to work well in a team, assisting others and solving problems collaboratively.
• Capability to safely and effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a hot environment and stand on your feet for up to 10 hours per day.
