Job summary

Western States Envelope & Label is hiring for Set-Up Operator positions at our climate-controlled Butler, WI facility. If you enjoy hands-on work with machinery and problem solving, this is your opportunity to contribute to a long-standing, family-owned company with 115+ years of experience.

You will set up and operate manufacturing equipment, adjust machines for quality and production, perform basic maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Strong initiative and self-motivation to identify and address issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others to meet production goals.
• Solid basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Must be able to frequently bend, reach, crouch, or stoop.Weight Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally from floor to waist and waist to shoulder.Manual Dexterity: Constant repetitive grasping and fine motor manipulation of paper materials and machine components.Range of Motion: Frequent twisting of the torso and lifting above shoulder height.Sensory/Vision: Must possess tactile/touch sensitivity in hands and digits. Near and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required for quality control and safe machine operation.Work Environment: Ability to perform these functions in a manufacturing environment that may include high noise levels, varying temperatures, and paper dust.
