Manufacturing Line Operator – 1st Shift (Fabrication/Casting)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated individual for a hands-on role focused on achieving high standards of quality, productivity, and safety. The position involves physical labor, including regularly lifting heavy objects (minimum 50 lbs). It is ideal for those who enjoy working with their hands and contributing to a team.

Hours

• 4x10: 1st Shift - Tue-Fri
• 5x8: 1st Shift - Mon-Fri

Position Details

• Continuously seek ways to improve work processes, safety, and efficiency, and share ideas.
• Work independently and collaboratively on project teams.
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints for parts and weld placements.
• Assemble parts using manual and tool-assisted methods, including flashing and brazing.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Operate hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, tape measures).
• Assist with masonry work and tending.
• Operate a forklift (training provided).
• Work with castable and sprayed concrete.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in industrial work is a plus but not required for temporary roles.
• Ability to learn and use measuring devices such as calipers, steel rules, and tape measures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills, including arithmetic and understanding units of measurement.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform prolonged physical exertion.
• Capable of standing for long periods, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in various conditions.
