Job summary

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, project management, and multidisciplinary knowledge to transform the plant into an industry leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering with additional certifications or 10 years equivalent work experience.
• PMP/CAPM preferred.
• Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, project management experience, and multi-disciplinary knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead Melt Shop Maintenance engineers, specialists, and electricians to maintain reliability and safety of the Melt Shop equipment.
• Guide staff and vendors to devise original concepts that transform maintenance outcomes.

Job description

Objective

Lead Melt Shop Maintenance engineers, specialists, and electricians to perform all tasks related to maintaining the reliability and safety of the Melt Shop and associated equipment. Will guide them to deliver creative solutions that deliver greater results than standard engineering solutions. There will be time spent researching, and challenging staff, vendors, and engineering firms to devise original concepts that transform the company into an industry leader.

Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering with additional certifications or 10 years equivalent work experience; Master of Engineering preferred.

• Experience with Electric Arc Furnaces, Switchgear, Power Distribution, Controls and Control Systems, especially Siemens and Allen-Bradley.
• Advanced understanding of Electrical Drawings and Schematics.
• PMP/CAPM preferred.
• Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, project management experience, and multi-disciplinary knowledge are beneficial.

Bachelor of Engineering degree with additional certifications or 10 years equivalent work experience

Salary Range: $106,100-145,900 plus monthly bonus.
