Overview

Responsible for leading the operation of manufacturing to ensure production requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate and/or lead the operation of machinery in manufacturing.
• Setup, operate, troubleshoot and maintain machines in manufacturing.
• Monitor machine operators for waste issues. Make recommendations to reduce waste when able.
• Ensure workstations are kept neat and orderly.
• Determine staffing levels needed for department.
• Schedule and coordinate production to meet required shipping schedules.
• Record all completed work on company approved/required documents.
• Assist other departments and employees as needed.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Must be able to complete and pass required competencies after training and maintain acceptable levels upon annual reviews.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly required to walk, stand, reach and bend.
