Job summary

Everlast Roofing, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Laborer/Technician to assist with production tasks, maintain a clean workspace, and support the production team by handling materials, operating basic machinery, and performing general labor duties.

The schedule is Monday-Wednesday (6am-3:30 pm) and Thursday & Friday (6am-3 pm). Responsibilities include quality checks, safety protocols, PPE usage, packaging, and inventory support to meet production goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy (50lbs+) materials.
  • Basic math and measurement skills are required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform production tasks according to instructions and standards.
  • Inspect products and materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Follow quality control procedures and report deviations to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (sweeping, cleaning, debris removal).
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
  • Communicate issues to supervisor and collaborate on solutions.
  • Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
  • Package products according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Inspect products before packaging to ensure quality.
  • Assist in managing packaging materials inventory.

The Manufacturing Laborer will assist with various production tasks, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure that production processes run smoothly. As a Manufacturing Laborer, you will support the production team by handling materials, operating basic machinery, and performing other general labor duties as required.

Manufacturing Laborer/Technician Key Responsibilities
  • Perform production tasks according to instructions and standards.
  • Inspect products and materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Follow quality control procedures and report any deviations to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, cleaning, and removing debris.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety instructions.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Work effectively with other team members to meet production goals.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor and collaborate to find solutions.
  • Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
  • Perform any duties assigned.
