SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE - $2,500 for day shift hire and $3,500 for night shift hire - this will be paid out over a 1-year periodNutrition & Health is seeking Operators to join our team in Gibson City, IL. As an Operator in this location, you will work in a unionized, industrial production environment. Rotating shift work, as well as weekends and holidays, are required. Twelve-hour and/or swing shifts may be required for some positions. We offer a competitive benefits package. This includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, holiday and a bonus plan.**Primary responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:*** Perform Analytical and Micro testing on process and finished products* Observe lab equipment operations and troubleshoot malfunctions* Make adjustments to lab operating equipment* Maintain lab equipment* May be exposed to high noise areas* May be exposed to hazardous chemicals**Minimum qualifications for this position include:*** 4 Year degree or 2 years lab experience* Ability to work safely, including but not limited to use of proper personal protective equipment, such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed safety shoes* Must be comfortable working with computerized control systems* Able to tolerate exposure to hot and cold conditions, according to the season* Must be in good physical health* Must be able to climb ladders* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds* Must be able to read/write and follow instructions* Must be able to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively* Ability to determine proper tools and equipment needed to perform a task*While we are interested in all qualified candidates with the potential to work in the United States, we are not able to sponsor visas.
