Job summary

Staffmark Group in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Manufacturing Lab Technician to support quality control and product testing in a fast-paced production environment.

The position pays $20.00 per hour with a Wednesday–Saturday 6:30am–4:30pm schedule. Responsibilities include testing materials, recording data, following SOPs, and aiding product development in a lab setting. Candidates with chemistry or materials science coursework are preferred, and experience with lab equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and standardized processes.
• Comfortable working in a lab and/or manufacturing environment.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Basic lab or QC experience (scales, ovens, mixers, sieving equipment) preferred.
• Coursework or degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with composites, resins, coatings, or filler materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and approved test methods.
• Record, document, and report test data accurately and consistently.
• Assist with product development and material evaluations.
• Support production teams with troubleshooting and quality-related issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment.
