Job summary

Central Oregon Community College seeks a Manufacturing Lab Assistant to support the Manufacturing Technology labs. Responsibilities include material prep, organization, and set-up under supervision of faculty and program director.

Qualifications

• Ability to monitor and assist students in lab operations.
• Capability to initiate tasks without supervision.

• Familiarity with welding and machining tools.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings or Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize and store materials and supplies for labs.
• Assist with inventory and tracking of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Perform equipment maintenance and coordinate service when needed.
• Assist vendors with delivery of materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the lab.
• Monitor instruction to support safe practices.
