Job summary

Omni One is seeking a Systems Administrator in Columbus, OH to support and enhance a modern IT infrastructure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role offers hands-on work with servers, networks, ERP/MES integrations, and security to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of systems administration experience, strong Microsoft tech skills, and the ability to manage projects and coordinate with vendors while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3–5+ years of Systems Administration experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Exchange, SQL Server, Office 365), networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi), virtualization, and infrastructure support.
• Experience supporting ERP systems, third-party applications, and enterprise security; MES, EDI, and PLC integration experience are a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, virtualization, storage, backups, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
• Provide hands-on technical support for office and plant users, minimizing downtime and troubleshooting hardware, software, and manufacturing systems.
• Maintain and improve LAN/WAN connectivity, shop floor technology, ERP/MES integrations, EDI systems, and network infrastructure.
• Lead IT projects, system upgrades, application deployments, onboarding, vendor coordination, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with security standards.
