Job summary

Consolidated-Metco is seeking a Manufacturing IT Systems Administrator to implement and maintain IT systems that support manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include provisioning end-user devices, maintaining production systems, installing and troubleshooting access layer networks, and providing user support.

The role requires Windows expertise, scripting, and strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in Information Technology or related field; MCP/MCSA/MCSE certifications supported.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and configure computers and peripherals for local and remote end-users.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot Windows systems, OS, applications and networks.
• Setup and support business peripherals (phones, iOS/Android devices, barcode printers, scanners).
• Create and debug batch, PowerShell, and Visual Basic scripts.
• Patch and install security updates to maintain system integrity.
• Prepare and maintain written documentation.
• Coordinate with quality, maintenance, production teams and customer representatives.
• Travel domestically (<5%); participate in on-call rotation (24x7).
• Adhere to change management practices and ensure safety.
