Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer to support manufacturing equipment digitalization, network connectivity, and data integrity upgrades in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include connecting and digitalizing equipment across the site, supporting VMware/VxRail, Windows/AD, storage, and security, while maintaining GxP/GMP documentation and coordinating with partners and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT/OT infrastructure within regulated manufacturing.
• Proficiency in VMware/VxRail and Windows AD.
• GxP/GMP regulated manufacturing experience.
• Strong vendor coordination and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Connect and digitalize manufacturing/lab equipment across the site.
• Support IT/OT infrastructure, network connectivity, firewall, security, and virtualization.
• Execute Data Integrity (DI) and infrastructure upgrades.
• Support VMware/VxRail, Windows, Active Directory, storage, backup, and recovery.
• Troubleshoot VLAN, DNS/DHCP, firewall, authentication, and connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with Networking, Cybersecurity, IAM, Server, VMware, Storage, and equipment vendors.
• Support manufacturing systems such as SCADA, HMI, Historian, LIMS/CDS, and instrument connectivity.
• Maintain GxP/GMP documentation, RCA, incident records, and CMDB/asset information.

Role Summary:
Seeking an experienced IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer to support manufacturing equipment digitalization, network connectivity, Data Integrity upgrades, and infrastructure initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect and digitalize manufacturing/lab equipment across the site.
• Support IT/OT infrastructure, network connectivity, firewall, security, and virtualization.
• Execute Data Integrity (DI) and infrastructure upgrades.
• Support VMware/VxRail, Windows, Active Directory, storage, backup, and recovery.
• Troubleshoot VLAN, DNS/DHCP, firewall, authentication, and connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with Networking, Cybersecurity, IAM, Server, VMware, Storage, and equipment vendors.
• Support manufacturing systems such as SCADA, HMI, Historian, LIMS/CDS, and instrument connectivity.

Key Skills:

• Strong IT/OT infrastructure and troubleshooting experience.
• Networking: VLANs, DNS/DHCP, routing/switching, firewalls.
• VMware/VxRail, Windows, Active Directory.
• Manufacturing/lab systems and equipment connectivity.
• GxP/GMP regulated manufacturing experience.
• Strong vendor coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Background: Pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

Compensation: - $100,000 to $140,000 + COLA and this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 11/22/2026
