Mondelēz International is offering a Manufacturing-Process Engineer Intern program in the United States. The internship provides hands-on experience on the production floor, working with site engineering, operations, and production teams to improve efficiency, reliability, and overall performance of manufacturing processes.

You will engage in process optimization, loss analysis, waste reduction, equipment performance, and production efficiency, with opportunities to lead or participate in Kaizen

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations.

This could include analyzing production data and line performance,identifyingsources of downtime or material loss, investigating root causes, and partnering with site teams to develop and implement solutions. Interns may alsohave the opportunity tolead orparticipatein Kaizen events and other continuous improvement initiatives, using methodologies and principles such as Lean Six Sigma, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).Projects may also include updating process maps for specific areas of the plant, evaluating production or packaging processes,optimizingkey pieces of equipment, and supporting improvements to standard operating procedures. Interns may work directly with operators and technical teams to understand current processes and help update process documentation, training materials, work instructions, or operating manuals to ensure improvements can be effectively implemented and sustained.This internship is designed to provide exposure to the full manufacturing environment;from understanding what happens directly on the production line to using data and continuousimprovement tools to solve real operational challenges.
