Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, other STEM-related or business program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale)
• Fluent in oral and written English with good communication skills
• Willing to relocate for the duration of the internship (locations vary)
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship by Baker Hughes now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day manufacturing operations, including monitoring equipment and processes.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance, inspecting products to meet standards.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Collect and analyze data related to manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and boost productivity.
• Prepare reports, work instructions, and process documentation for consistency.
• Apply HS&E standards to ensure compliance across situations
