Job summary

AAA-USA Inc. seeks a Gas Turbine Component Inspector to assess turbine components received for inspection, following procedures, blueprints and established practices.

The role includes visual inspections, performing FAIRs, generating NCRs, reviewing paperwork, using precision measuring equipment, and coordinating with engineering. Willing to travel or relocate to Jupiter, FL to support operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings or work instructions.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, SAP and timekeeping applications.

Responsibilities

• Assess gas turbine components following documented procedures and drawings.
• Conduct visual inspections as required.
• Perform FAIRs and maintain related documentation.
• Interface with engineering to improve work instructions and routing.
• Generate NCRs in the QSI system.
• Review job paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
• Use precision measuring equipment for incoming assessments.
• Operate small cranes to move equipment and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow EHS regulations in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle waste per EHS procedures and label containers accordingly.

The Gas Turbine Component Inspector is responsible for assessing various gas turbine components received for inspection, following written procedures, blueprints, drawings, and established practices.

Essential Functions:

• Perform assessments on gas turbine components following documented procedures, blueprints, drawings, and established practices.
• Conduct visual inspections as required.
• Perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and maintain related documentation.
• Interface with engineering and order execution teams to recommend improvements to work instructions and routing.
• Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in the QSI system.
• Review job paperwork throughout the inspection process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment for incoming assessments.
• Operate small cranes to move equipment, parts, and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle waste according to EHS procedures and legal requirements, including:
  • Segregating hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • Ensuring waste containers are properly maintained and labeled.
  • Managing waste accumulation and arranging internal transfers.
  • Cleaning up incidental spills as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of EHS regulatory training, including initial and annual Hazardous Waste Management training as outlined in PSM’s EHS Training Matrix.
• 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings or work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP, and timekeeping applications.
