Job summary

Zenith Infotek LLC in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks an Industrial Engineering Analytics Engineer to lead development of advanced analytical models for manufacturing efficiency, capacity planning, and cost optimization. You will build integrated IE models linking capacity, labor, PFEP, and COGS to support factory planning.

The role requires 7+ years in IE analytics, strong Excel, plus experience with simulation tools (FlexSim, AnyLogic, Simio) and AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
7+ years of experience in industrial engineering analytics or manufacturing modeling.
Strong understanding of capacity planning, PFEP, OEE, and cost analytics.
Experience building data-driven models and analytical solutions for manufacturing or factory operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and own integrated IE models connecting capacity, labor, material flow, PFEP, and COGS to support factory planning and operations.
Build and maintain capacity models covering target, forecast, and gated capacity, incorporating cycle time, OEE, yield losses, utilization, and bottleneck analysis.
Develop labor models to optimize headcount, workforce utilization, labor productivity, and labor cost across production systems.
Lead COGS modeling, including labor, overhead, scrap, and process-driven cost components.
Develop and track scrap and yield models, quantify financial impacts, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Design and maintain OEE models covering availability, performance, and quality to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
