Job summary

KTek Resourcing is seeking a senior industrial analytics engineer to lead manufacturing analytics and process optimization. You will model capacity, labor and cost, using simulation tools to drive throughput improvements and cost reductions across multiple lines.

Key responsibilities include integrating shop-floor data with MES and analytics platforms, building business cases, and delivering forecasting and scenario analyses to support capital investments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in industrial engineering analytics/manufacturing modeling.
• Experience building end-to-end IE models (capacity + labor + cost).
• Strong exposure to factory operations, throughput optimization, and cost analysis.
• Experience with business case development and financial modeling.
• Hands-on work integrating shop-floor data, MES, and analytics systems.

Responsibilities

• Model capacity, labor, and cost across end-to-end IE scenarios.
• Conduct simulation-based optimization to improve throughput and OEE.
• Integrate shop-floor data, MES, and analytics systems for real-time insights.
• Develop business cases and financial models to support investments.
• Perform forecasting and scenario/sensitivity analysis to guide decisions.

Job description

• Capacity modeling (OEE, cycle time, bottleneck analysis)
• Labor and cost modeling (COGS, LOH, ROI/NPV/IRR)
• Manufacturing analytics & process optimization
• Simulation tools (FlexSim / AnyLogic / Simio)
• Data analytics: Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• PFEP and material flow modeling
• Scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and forecasting
• AI/ML-based analytics (preferred)

Must-Have Experience
