Troy Design and Manufacturing Co. | Shelbyville Technical Center is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy at the Shelbyville site, supporting 400+ employees across seven business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Seven+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least three years in leadership roles.
• Experience supporting manufacturing/automotive or fast-paced operations.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws; experience with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and applicant tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR advisor to site leadership and align workforce strategies with launch milestones and production needs.
• Lead workforce planning, recruiting, selection, offers, preemployment requirements, and onboarding for non-exempt, technical, professional, and leadership roles.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, coaching, corrective action, and performance management to improve attendance, morale, and retention.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation in compliance with laws and company requirements.
• Oversee HR operations, payroll coordination, benefits, timekeeping, and payroll changes with payroll leaders.
• Identify development needs and coordinate training for employees and leaders in HR processes and policy administration.
