Job summary

US Farathane is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist at our Austin, TX facility to support payroll, recruiting, and employee leave management in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

This role emphasizes hands-on HR support for hourly and salaried employees on the plant floor, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and a positive workplace culture through engagement and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with payroll processing, recruiting, and leave administration.
• Experience supporting high-volume hourly workforce populations.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for hourly employees.
• Support recruiting and onboarding for plant positions.
• Administer leave of absence programs (FMLA, PTO, etc.).
• Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with policies and wage laws.
• Respond to employee HR questions and maintain data accuracy.
