The Manufacturing Helper in Pittsfield, MA, is responsible for performing all tasks associated with supporting manufacturing operations on the paper machine and in finishing/converting. Responsibilities include transporting and staging rolls, threading of machines, and general housekeeping. The Helper provides general support for and takes direction from the Machine Tender and/or Paper Machine Rewinder Operator or the Calender Operator for the responsible and safe operation of the paper machine or calenders.
Rotating, includes weekends. 1st Shift 6 am - 2 pm, 2nd Shift 2 -10 pm, and 3rd Shift 10 pm - 6 am.
