Staffmark Group is hiring a Manufacturing Grinding Operator in Rogers, AR. The role involves operating automated grind lines, reading blueprints, inspecting products, and maintaining quality in a fast-paced environment.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 3:30pm to 12am with overtime on Saturdays, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Applicants need a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of machine operator experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience performing quality inspections and documenting production data.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
• Willingness to train on a different shift for up to 6 weeks if required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated grind lines to produce quality products according to specifications.
• Measure raw materials and perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Follow procedures for operating and monitoring centerless grinders, infeed robot cells, and chamfer robot cells.
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues to maintain production output and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints to verify product requirements and resolve quality concerns.
• Identify, separate, and report nonconforming materials while documenting findings.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and equipment checks.
• Complete daily housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of machine operator experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Experience performing quality inspections and documenting production data.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
• Willingness to train on a different shift for up to 6 weeks if required.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift trays of inserts weighing up to 33 pounds.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Frequent walking, reaching, bending, and material handling.
• Ability to work safely while wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and safety shoes.
• Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with dust collection systems.
