National Register USA is seeking a General Manager to take over a well-run metals plant near Dayton, Ohio. This leadership role carries full P&L responsibility for operations and sales, with a talented staff in a 40,000 sq ft facility running a single shift Monday–Friday.

The incoming GM will replace the retiring incumbent, ensure a smooth transition, and report to a manufacturing executive known for strong leadership. A healthy compensation package includes a bonus plan and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

Job description

Are you ready to take on a manufacturing plant, to own its P&L, lead its manufacturing team and oversee sales? While the ideal candidate will have experience as a plant manager, operations manager or general manager; our client is also willing to consider a senior manufacturing manager or production manager who is looking for their next level leadership seat.

We have been retained by a metals manufacturer to find a General Manager to take over a well running plant near Dayton, Ohio. The incumbent is retiring, and is leaving a very good situation for his successor. He is also planning to stay on for a few months to help in the transition when his replacement comes aboard.

As GM, you will have full P&L responsibility over operations and sales. This business unit is part of a much larger manufacturer that acquired a five plant company that was headquartered in Dayton. The former owner has stayed on and is selling for the plant (they serve a 150 mile radius of Dayton).

The plant fabricates and manufacturers five product lines. They have invested into the equipment to include a new mobile roll forming technology that rolls out this spring. The current GM has built out an incredible staff in this 40,000 square foot facility that runs a single shift Monday through Friday. Fifteen employees are on site plus a team of Class A and Class B drivers.
