Job summary

Ventura Coastal, LLC, a manufacturing facility in Visalia, CA, is seeking a reliable General Laborer/Janitorial worker to support production areas and yard maintenance on rotating 12-hour shifts. You will perform cleaning, pallet repair, drum prep, and packaging support as directed by supervision.

This role requires forklift experience or license, basic English, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a forklift license or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to speak English desirable.
• High school graduate or equivalent desirable.
• Previous experience in a plant manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Job summary: Provide janitorial and general labor services in the manufacturing area as directed by supervisor.
• Perform janitorial and general labor functions in the manufacturing area as needed and directed.
• Assist in manual labor tasks such as preparing drums for use in Production, repairing wooden pallets, opening defective cased goods, cleaning floors in the Production area, and yard clean-up.
• Collect pulp in appropriate containers as required. Take hourly samples and ensure we target customer specification.
• Complete daily forklift checks and operate Forklift safely.
