Job summary

Hedy Holmes staffing is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support daily production operations in a manufacturing environment. The role may involve flocking, packing, labeling, sanding, and general production duties. PPE includes N95 masks and safety glasses as required.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs, and work safely around equipment. Overtime and occasional early starts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, general labor, sanding, or mechanical work is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general production, packing, labeling, sanding, and material handling tasks.
• Assist with flocking and maintain production equipment as needed.
• Perform basic mechanical duties under supervision.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material-handling gear as required.
• Read and follow equipment manuals, work orders, and safety instructions.
• Identify faulty operations or materials and report to supervision.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Department Manager and team to complete tasks.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
