Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Miscellaneous Labor associate in Kalamazoo, MI. The role involves operating various production equipment, performing quality checks, maintaining a safe workspace, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Overtime and weekend shifts may be required. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, eager to learn, and capable of handling physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and reading a tape measure.

Qualifications

• High school or technical diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including flexo-folder/gluers, corrugators, and intricate die-cut machines.
• Follow specific directions and operate powered hand tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Read a tape measure to one-sixteenth of an inch.
• Use basic math and computer skills.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Navigate stairs and ladders, and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
