Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Miscellaneous Labor in Kalamazoo, MI. The role involves operating a range of production equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace across shifts with overtime as needed.

The candidate should be willing to learn manufacturing processes, work in a fast-paced, noisy environment, and adhere to safety policies. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High school or technical diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including flexo-folder/gluers, corrugators, and intricate die-cut machines.
• Follow specific directions and operate powered hand tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner (safety-sensitive position).
• Read a tape measure to one-sixteenth of an inch.
• Use basic math and computer skills.
• Work safely and comply with all safety policies and regulations.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Navigate stairs and ladders, and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
