Responsibilities

• Prepare work center to run according to schedule and ensure production goals and standards are met
• Provide support to machine operators and line leads to ensure workflow supports production goals and standards.
• Move material within or to/from workstations to meet operational needs.
• Successfully scan work orders and complete paperwork as On-the-Job (OTJ) training requires within a reasonable time frame.
• Follow proper processes for performing inspections, ensuring accuracy, and allowing for continuous monitoring for defects. If defects are found, the product must be sent to be reworked.
• Ensure any dust, dirt, excess glue, or other substances are removed from the product and prepared for shipment to the customer.
• Assist with material handling to provide continuous production at each work center and meet operational needs.
• Report problems to area lead or supervisor.
• Make recommendations through specified means of communication that support a lean and efficient manufacturing environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout scheduled shift as well as perform cleaning duties at designated times to contribute to a safe environment.
• Contribute to team effort by working as areas directed and performing other duties as assigned and needed.
