Menasha Corporation’s Yukon, PA plant is hiring General Labor associates to learn machine operations and move into roles such as machine helpers and operators, with emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork. The company is a leading packaging and supply chain solutions provider.

Most openings are on 2nd and 3rd shifts; training may occur on 1st shift. Overtime and weekend work are required. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Safety sensitive position – must work in a safe manner and adhere to safety policies.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required by business needs.
• Ability to effectively work in teams and communicate with a wide range of roles.
• Ability to perform in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively; basic math and reading skills.
• Basic computer functions as they pertain to the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines including set up, packing, palletizing, bundling, stacking and sorting.
• Assist machine operators to ensure efficient production center operation.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and identify defects.
• Maintain production efficiencies and clean working area and equipment.
• Understand work orders, time sheets and related production documentation.
