Job summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner helping market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products. The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analysis to support operational and financial decision-making across the organization.

The role partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, drive performance, and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, or business partnering experience.
• Finance Business Partner to operational and functional leaders.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, planning, and variance analysis background.
• Experience supporting corporate expense management and employee incentive/bonus programs.
• Ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and timeliness in execution.
• Ability to influence and partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience communicating financial concepts to senior leadership and supporting strategic decisions.
• Experience with global teams across multiple regions.
• Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Prepare and maintain rolling financial forecasts and analyses of business performance.
• Deliver detailed variance analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key drivers.
• Provide senior leadership with timely reporting and actionable business insights for decision-making.
• Partner with operational, engineering, and functional leaders to support objectives and drive financial accountability.
• Manage corporate expenses, ensuring controls, visibility, and cost optimization.
• Support bonus planning, forecasting, and analysis with precision.
• Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Conduct profitability assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support acquisition evaluations, new business planning, and growth initiatives.
• Prepare executive presentations for monthly/quarterly reviews and strategic planning.
• Ensure SOX compliance, corporate policies, and financial controls.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with global teams including the U.S. and India.
• Lead, coach, and develop finance team members to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
