Job summary

OPTIMIZED LOGISTICS LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to support manufacturing by safely operating forklifts to move in-process product, raw materials, racks, and supplies.

You will perform pre-use inspections, follow plant rules and 5S standards, and coordinate material movement with production and warehouse teams. This role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience required or preferred, with certified evaluation before operation.
• Ability to safely maneuver loads in a live manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of load stability, capacity limits, and safe stacking.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and identify priorities.
• Basic scanner/computer skills for material movement and traceability transactions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts in accordance with training, plant rules, and OSHA/company requirements.
• Perform pre-use inspections and report defects or unsafe conditions.
• Move materials: unibodies, pallets, raw materials, rejects, and supplies.
• Maintain production flow by responding to material movement requests and routing.
• Load, unload, stack, stage, and transport materials without damage.
• Follow pedestrian-right-of-way rules, speed limits, aisle controls, horn/intersection requirements, and designated traffic patterns.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in staging and travel areas.
• Document movement or inventory with scanning as required.
