Job summary

Channell Commercial Corporation in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Machine Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and order in manufacturing areas. You will help keep production spaces safe by following company policies and sanitation procedures, and you will operate basic cleaning equipment on various shifts.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and read and write in English. High school diploma preferred, and prior janitorial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some janitorial/custodial experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours daily.
• English literacy required.
• Ability to work in both hot and cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain production work areas and remove debris/refuse.
• Mop and sweep floors, including operation of powered floor scrubber/sweeper.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas.
• Prepare documentation as needed regarding work and maintenance performed.
• Report all equipment failures to immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Complete other job-related duties and special projects assigned by Supervisor.
