Job summary

PMI U.S. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Financial Analyst in Aurora, Colorado to support manufacturing operations with precise cost accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

The role partners with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Production leaders to drive financial visibility and improve cost performance. The ideal candidate has strong cost accounting expertise, manufacturing experience, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights; enables improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial analyst or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Experience supporting audits, maintaining internal controls, and applying GAAP accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting activities in partnership with cost center managers.
• Analyze budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Prepare and distribute cost center reports and assist business leaders with variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Research and analyze production variances, including material usage, labor efficiency, and purchase price variances.
• Lead the review and maintenance of finished goods standard costing.
• Review production order activity for financial accuracy and timely closure.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory activities and monitor cycle counts.
