Job summary

Kyocera-AVX Greenville LLC is seeking a financial professional to administer plant-wide cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting. You will drive monthly closings, variance analysis and cost control, partnering with operations leadership to optimize product costs and inventories.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting or cost analysis within manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in Accounting or Cost Financial Analysis.
• Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Candidate must be able to summarize complicated financial data in a simple and concise way. Proficiency with MS Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including ability to formalize and present complex financial data to operations leadership teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office, and some ERP experience.
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; US Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly rolling forecast, monthly closing, variance analysis and reporting.
• Lead annual budget and standard cost processes and communicate with all involved departments.
• Monitor variance tracking, cost reduction projects, performance ratios, break-even cost and product flows.
• Analyze and explain material, labor and overhead cost trends.
• Perform inventory tracking to ensure proper valuation and accuracy of inventories.
• Interface with senior management regarding costs, trends and major variances.
