Job summary

KYOCERA AVX Corporation in Erie, PA seeks a finance professional to administer the plant's financial programs, perform budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, and coordinate with management across divisions.

You will manage rolling forecasts, annual budgets, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and reporting to executives. Requires a bachelor's in accounting or cost accounting, 3+ years in finance, and strong Excel/ERP skills; eligible for 401k with company match and hybrid work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or cost financial analysis with 3+ years experience.
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience preferred.
• Ability to summarize complex financial data clearly; proficient in MS Office, including Excel; ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly rolling forecast, monthly closing, variance analysis and reporting.
• Lead annual budget and standard cost processes and communicate with all involved departments.
• Monitor variance tracking, cost reduction projects, performance ratios, break-even cost and product flows.
• Analyze and explain material, labor and overhead cost trends.
• Perform inventory tracking to ensure proper valuation and accuracy of inventories.
• Interface with senior management on costs, trends and variances.
• Interpret and report financial results to plant, division and corporate management.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls and policies.
• Identify profit opportunities and assist in implementation.
