Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Finance (FP&A & Execution) to provide integrated financial leadership across multiple manufacturing sites. You will partner with Plant Leadership Teams to interpret results, guide tradeoffs, and drive cost, productivity, and performance improvements.

Regular on-site engagement and 25–40% travel are expected to support execution and initiatives. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or FP&A within CPG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5+ years of financial roles in CPG, plant controllership, or FP&A.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and AOP processes.
• Strong cost accounting knowledge: standard costing, conversion costs, cost centers.
• Ability to translate operational metrics (OEE, downtime, scrap) into financial outcomes.
• Proven leadership in coaching analysts and partnering with operations.
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills; strong problem solving.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging Corporate Finance.
• Willingness to travel 25–40% to support multiple plants.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Leadership Teams to frame financial implications and tradeoffs.
• Lead cost, productivity, and performance improvement actions.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and AOP processes at site level.
• Lead site-level variance analysis and financial storytelling for ME/BU/LE reporting.
• Coach and develop site finance analysts and accountants.
• Travel 25–40% to support on-site plant reviews and initiatives.
