Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with manufacturing sites across North America, providing financial leadership and decision support. The role focuses on cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring robust internal controls in a SOX/GAAP framework.

The position is based in Naperville, IL with weekly onsite work at Bedford Park, IL, reporting to a Sr. Finance Manager of Manufacturing. Strong manufacturing costing and ERP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Financial Business Partner focused on driving strong financial acumen and decision support that results in financial metric improvement and profitable growth.
• Drive tools and analytics locally to help business partners with areas of opportunity to improve costs and understand how projects/actions translate financially.
• Maintain a culture focused on policy adherence and financial controls to ensure appropriate monitoring of operations financially.
• Manage all accounting procedures related to operations (e.g., G/L maintenance, accruals, expense charge-off, journal entry preparation, payroll processing, capital equipment authorization, asset management, and inventory control including inventory reconciliations).
• Support network-wide improvements by leading standard work and process development across the North America network focused on simplification and efficiency with leveraging shared services, consistent analytical tools, and metrics.
