LANGE is offering a 2027 Summer Internship Program in Wichita, KS. The Accounting Intern will support accounts receivable, accounts payable and month-end close tasks, learning GAAP-compliant processes and financial reporting.

The role provides exposure to tax preparation, audit activities, fixed asset accounting, and cost accounting with inventory and manufacturing collaboration, within a structured internship period from May 17 to August 6, 2027.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Basic understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with intermediate skills in Excel.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Assists with research, filing, and data entry to maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
• Assists in month-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepares assigned reconciliations and reporting.
• Assists with the accounts payable and receivable functions, as necessary.
• Assists with audit and tax activities.
• Assists with Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Works with Inventory and Manufacturing Groups on Cost Accounting activities.
