Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Factory Quality Leader to drive quality excellence across our manufacturing operations. You will shape the factory's quality strategy, deploy QIP, and lead programs to improve customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

You will work with operations, engineering, supply chain, and R&D to deliver world-class products, build a data-driven culture, and coach quality teams across the site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years quality management experience, 2+ in leadership in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement with Lean Six Sigma.

  • Lead and deploy factory quality strategies and QIP aligned with objectives.
  • Champion safety culture by integrating HSE into quality activities.
  • Incorporate Voice of Customer feedback into quality initiatives and improvements.
  • Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and global quality expectations.
  • Lead Quality Management System, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and testing processes across the factory.
  • Analyze quality data, establish KPIs, identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Foster continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies and structured problem-solving.
  • Develop, coach, and inspire quality teams while strengthening cross-functional collaboration.

How You'll Make an Impact

Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of quality management experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Excellent analytical, root cause investigation, and risk management skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build partnerships across all levels of an organization.
