Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Facility Security Officer for the West Branch, IA location. This full-time role on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri) monitors access, patrols the site, and enforces client site regulations to maintain a safe, secure environment.

The position offers a wage of 20.09 USD per hour, with benefits, uniforms, training, and a daily pay option. A High School diploma or GED and customer service experience are preferred, along with a professional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct lengthy foot patrols of the property.
• Access control duties.
• Front desk duties.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Schedule: Mon - Fri: 2nd Shift

The Manufacturing Facility Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
