Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Facilities Engineer II for our Scarborough, Maine facility. The role focuses on maintaining facilities systems, implementing approved changes, and delivering mid-scale projects in a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will work with engineering, technicians, and production staff to troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in facility operations. A BS in Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, calculations and change records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Lead and execute medium-scale facilities projects and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with engineering, technicians, quality and operations to meet timelines.
• Lead root-cause investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Support change control activities through systems like Agile PLM.
