Job summary

Fort Walton Machining, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance & EHS Manager to plan and supervise maintenance services for facilities, equipment, and systems. The role develops and implements environmental, health, and safety programs across the company.

The position includes leading maintenance and EHS teams, coordinating contractors, and managing capital projects. A strong background in manufacturing maintenance and regulatory compliance is required, with emphasis on efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; additional technical or trade education is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous maintenance leadership and/or facilities management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and train Maintenance and EHS personnel.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee outside contractors safely and on schedule.
• Maintain records of equipment, maintenance activities, and expenses; minimize downtime.
• Serve as project manager for capital improvements, including planning and budgeting.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for facilities and equipment.
