Job summary

Raytheon Goleta site seeks an experienced MES specialist to act as the Eyelit MES expert, partnering with production and engineering to implement scalable MES models. The role focuses on configuring routings, processes, and data structures to support high-precision semiconductor manufacturing.

You will lead requirements, drive process improvements, and coordinate testing and deployment of MES enhancements while developing training materials and standard work for operators and engineers.

Qualifications

  • Requires a university degree or equivalent and 5–8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience configuring and modeling Eyelit MES in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a regulated, high-technology setting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Eyelit MES.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and translate requirements into Eyelit MES models and workflows.
  • Configure and maintain product routings, operations, work instructions, resources, equipment, process parameters, quality checkpoints, defect tracking, and genealogy within Eyelit.
  • Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and manufacturing updates within the MES.
  • Lead requirements gathering with cross-functional stakeholders and document specifications.
  • Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities to improve automation, traceability, cycle time, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, deployment, and UAT for MES enhancements.
  • Develop standard work, training materials, and user guidance for MES functionality.
  • Participate in digital manufacturing initiatives supporting factory modernization and operational excellence.
  • Promote standardized modeling practices and governance across multiple manufacturing areas.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as the functional subject matter expert for the Eyelit Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Analyze manufacturing business processes and convert operational requirements into scalable Eyelit MES models and workflows.
  • Configure and maintain product routings, manufacturing operations, work instructions, resources, equipment, process parameters, quality checkpoints, defect tracking, and material genealogy within Eyelit.
  • Support new product introductions, engineering change implementations, and manufacturing process updates within the MES.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders and document business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Evaluate manufacturing workflows and recommend opportunities to improve automation, traceability, cycle time, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, deployment, and user acceptance activities for MES enhancements.
  • Develop standard work, documentation, training materials, and user guidance supporting MES functionality.
  • Participate in digital manufacturing initiatives supporting factory modernization and operational excellence.
  • Promote standardized modeling practices and governance across multiple manufacturing areas.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience configuring and modeling within the Eyelit Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing organizations in a production environment.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience implementing MES solutions within semiconductor or other high-technology manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of lot genealogy, material traceability, WIP management, nonconformance workflows, defect management, SPC, and manufacturing data collection.
  • Experience working within regulated manufacturing environments requiring strict process control and traceability.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and leading business process improvement initiatives.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
