Job summary

Quality Tank Solutions (QTS) is seeking experienced Estimators to join our teams in Oconomowoc and Marshfield, Wisconsin. The Estimator collaborates with the sales team to prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and technical proposals based on RFQs, blueprints, and project specs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing estimating, strong math/analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and Word. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s in related fields is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales team to develop accurate and competitive estimates and quotes.
• Review RFQs, blueprints, drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate and timely estimates based on material, labor, manufacturing, and other applicable costs.
• Assist with pricing for customer change orders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments to ensure estimates reflect project requirements.
