Job summary

Quality Tank Solutions (QTS) is seeking experienced, full-time Estimators to join our teams in Oconomowoc and Marshfield, Wisconsin. The Estimator collaborates with the Sales team to prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and technical proposals based on RFQs, blueprints, and specifications.

3+ years of manufacturing estimating experience, strong reading of technical drawings, and proficiency in Excel/Word are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and quality
• Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales team to develop accurate and competitive estimates and quotes
• Review RFQs, blueprints, drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine project scope and requirements
• Prepare accurate and timely estimates based on material, labor, manufacturing, and other costs
• Assist with pricing for customer change orders
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments to ensure estimates reflect project requirements
