Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search is seeking an Estimator/Planner in Everett, Washington to support manufacturing operations by creating job estimates and planning workflows. This role involves gathering technical data, reviewing customer requirements, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of metal forming, machining, and heat-treat specifications while demonstrating excellent organizational and communication skills. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (engineering, manufacturing, or related field).
• Understanding of metal forming, machining, metal finishing, and heat-treat processes.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Calculate labor, material, tooling, and outside-processing costs to develop accurate job estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor hours, machine time, materials, and special processing.
• Plan and schedule jobs to maintain efficient production flow and meet customer delivery dates.
• Source materials and outside services, request quotes, and track supplier lead times.
• Coordinate workflow through the shop, ensuring capacity, materials, and processing are aligned with schedule requirements.
