Job summary

LeClaire Manufacturing is a family owned aluminum casting and machining company located in the Quad Cities. This role is the connective tissue of our plant, linking engineering, production, sales, purchasing, and accounting through a well‑run ERP system.

You’ll build and maintain engineering data (parts, BOMs, routings) and own the accuracy of job costs, WIP, and inventory. It’s a hands‑on role with real ownership—your work will be visible on the shop floor and in the numbers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing ERP system.
• Background in manufacturing or production engineering.
• Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash, BOMs, routings, and revisions.
• Comfort with job costing, WIP, inventory transactions.
• Analytical mindset with attention to discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ERP data: parts, BOMs, routings, and costs.
• Troubleshoot ERP processes across Sales, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, and Accounting.
• Build reports and dashboards for visibility.
• Support ERP upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Create and maintain part numbers, revisions, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing methods.
• Develop manufacturing processes and operation sequences, and help estimate labor, material, and subcontract needs.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes, and validate setup/costing before release to production.
• Analyze job costs, WIP, and manufacturing variances; own period-end close.
• Compare estimated vs. actual labor, material, and burden costs, and investigate discrepancies.
