Job summary

Camden County Technical Schools is seeking an anticipated Teacher of Manufacturing Engineering Technology for the 2025-2026 school year at the Gloucester Township Campus. This 10-month, full-time role requires NJ Career and Technical Education certification, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to create a safe, engaging learning environment.

The position offers salary/benefits per the Camden County Vocational Agreement, with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for the hired candidate.

Qualifications

Must possess or be eligible for New Jersey Career and Technical Education Teaching Certificate.
Teaching Certificate #4166 is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods.
Familiarity with New Jersey Student Learning Standards/Industry Standards.
Knowledge of instructional technologies and safe learning environment.
Ability to communicate with parents/guardians.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must undergo criminal history check and have U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.
Meets health qualifications for personnel.
Willingness to relocate to NJ within 365 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Select materials and technologies to support instructional goals and student learning.
Develop lesson plans meeting standards, with differentiation and rigor.
Plan aligned to New Jersey Core Curriculum/Industry Standards and Camden County Technical Schools curriculum.
Extend prerequisite skills and cross-content connections to deepen knowledge.
Adjust instructional plans based on student achievement and assessments.
Use IEPs where prescribed to meet student needs.
Set clear goals and measure progress with various assessments.
Maintain positive verbal and non-verbal communications with students.
Organize tasks so groups work independently and productively.
Prepare students to handle materials and maximize instructional time.
